Hey there, fellow Teams gurus!

I'm thrilled to share some exciting news about a recent update that's really enhancing the way we manage our meeting recordings. As someone who relies heavily on Teams for collaboration and communication, I was thrilled to hear about this change.

So, here's the lowdown: Starting from somewhere May 2024, Teams meeting recordings will be automatically saved to the OneDrive for Business of the meeting organizer. Yes, you heard that right! No more hunting down recordings in different folders or wondering where they've disappeared to.

Previously, meeting recordings were saved to the OneDrive for Business folder of the person who initiated the recording. While it wasn't necessarily a deal-breaker, it did create some confusion and hassle, especially when it came to managing access permissions and organizing files effectively.

But fear not, my friends! With this fantastic update, meeting organizers can now take full control over their recordings. By saving them directly to their own OneDrive for Business, it's much easier to manage access permissions and keep everything neat and tidy.

Imagine the peace of mind knowing exactly where your recordings are stored, and being able to manage them effortlessly. It's a game-changer for sure! And guess what? This update isn't just for a select few. It's available across various platforms, including Mac and Desktop.

I don't know about you, but I'm all for anything that streamlines my workflow and makes my life easier. Kudos to the Microsoft Teams team for continually improving our collaboration experience.

So, if you're as excited about this update as I am, make sure to keep an eye out for it in your Teams environment. Trust me, you won't want to miss out on this one!

Until next time, happy collaborating!
